•
The
Submit Query
button submits changes made in the
Circuit ID, the Desired State,
and T
est Mode
Selection
columns for 16 mDSL ports. There are two
Submit Query
buttons, one on top of the table, the
other on the bottom, both of which function identically.
•
As with all
Submit Query
entries, the configuration changes are saved in volatile dynamic memory. After
clicking on
Submit Query
, the changes take effect immediately. Only by going to the
HOME
page in the
3095 Configuration Menu
and clicking on
Save Current Configuration
will the configuration be stored in
non-volatile Flash memory.
mDSL Port Table
The table shows the characteristics for each of the 16 internal mDSL modems. By clicking on the
Port
num-
ber, you can examine other statistics and configure more parameters. (See “mDSL Port Configuration Page
window” on page 81). For each port number, the table shows the user-defined
Circuit ID
, the
Current State
of
the modem, the
Desired State
of the modem, and the internal connection of each B-channel; which are
described in the following sections.
Port Number (mdslconfigID)
This identifies each of the 16 mDSL modems uniquely. It is a link to the “mDSL Port Information window”
on page 68 which displays more options and statistics for that mDSL port.
Circuit ID (userIDMdsl)
U
ser-defined field for assigning a name to each mDSL port. The name can consist of up to 40 ASCII
characters.
