You can set the security alarm when going out and disarm it when you return home.
For this reason, the alarm delay time (from the time at which the security alarm is set and till you go
out from the dwelling unit door) and the preliminary alarm time (period from the time at which you
open the door till the time you disarm the security alarm) are set to the doors of dwelling units.
When going out
It takes approximately 60 seconds (alarm delay time) for the security alarm to turn on after
setting it on the base unit.
Opening the front door within the alarm delay time will not cause the security alarm to sound.
* You can shorten the alarm delay time using the Door Phone.

When returning home
60 seconds from opening the front door is the "preliminary alarm time". If you disarm the alarm
within the preliminary alarm time ( page 102), the security alarm will not sound. (The security
preliminary alarm sounds.)
If the security alarm is enabled after locking up the door and windows, the base unit reports when they are opened
by an intruder by generating an alarm. When a certain period of time has elapsed, it also notifies the handset of the
door phone and the manager room of the alarm. You can also disarm the security alarm after it is set.

The method to activate/deactivate the security alarm depends on the equipment installed in your apartment
building and the equipment settings. Ask the company that installed the system or the administrating company.
The security alarm is set to the 4 circuits (windows and door) at the same time. If a window or the
door is opened after setting the security alarm,the set magnet switch is activated and it transmits a
signal to the base unit that triggers an alarm.
The operation manual assumes that the above times are set.
