You cannot use this system in an apartment building with no emergency earthquake alert (prediction) system 
is installed.

Setting

For information about whether your apartment building uses the detailed earthquake 
intensity indicator (     page 90) or the simplified earthquake intensity indicator, ask your 
administrating company.

When an emergency earthquake alert (prediction) 
is received, the base unit reports the event. The 
message volume can be adjusted. (     Page 54)

When expected earthquakes are intensity 3 or 
smaller, they are not displayed.
