Activating the Security Alarm

Activate the security alarm for both front door and windows at the same time.

Close and lock the front door and windows
to which the magnet switches are installed

Press the MENU button in the standby
status (nothing is displayed on the screen)

* If the security setting is not set to "ON", it is not

possible to activate the security alarm.
(See pages 19-20)

Note

The message "Security has been turned on."
appears and the alarm setting is enabled
immediately for the windows and 60 seconds
later for the front door. (factory default setting)

●

Make sure to properly close and lock the windows
and front door before setting the security alarm.

●

If the security alarm is set when a window or unit
door (with a magnet switch installed) left open, short
beeps are generated from the base unit and
extension speakers, and the alarm lamp flashes in
green. If the window or front door is closed and
locked at this point, the security alarm is set.

●

Due to magnet’s specification, the security alarm may be
set without completely closing the front door or windows.
Make sure to completely close and lock the front door
and windows before setting the security alarm.

Setting

●

A sound is generated 30 seconds before it enters the
security alarm status. Verbal count down is performed
from 15 seconds before the security alarm is set in
intervals of 5 seconds, and the notification beep sound
can be played when it enters the security alarm status.

●

It is possible to play the alarm notification message
when it enters into the security alarm status.

Message details: "Security has been turned on."

Consult with the company that installed the system
or the administrating company.
