This function is available only if a gas detector 
with the CO alarm function is installed.

When the gas/CO detector detects imperfect 
combustion (carbon monoxide), the base unit 
and the cordless handset of the door phone 
report the abnormality.

(beep sound) The air is 

contaminated. Please open a 

window and ventilate the room.

The ventilation indicator will turn off after 
approximately 3 minutes and the periphery of 
the MENU button will flash in red.

If imperfect combustion is not detected 
anymore, the alarm message automatically 
stops and the periphery of the MENU button 
and the alarm indicator lamp on the handset 
of the door phone will turn off.

Note

● 

The periphery of the MENU button and alarm 
indicator lamp will keep flashing until the 
gas/CO detector detects no more imperfect 
combustion (carbon monoxide). 

● 

It is also possible to turn off the ventilation 
indicator within 3 minutes. (     Page 75)

Press the Alarm Stop button. However, the alarm 
sound of the gas/CO detector does not stop. (It 
is also possible to stop the alarm sound from the 
manager room. )

● 

Open the windows and door to ventilate the 
room.

 

● 

Stop using the device causing the 
imperfect combustion.

 

● 

If the alarm message does not stop, 
contact the store you purchased from or a 
gas store.

When the detector is disconnected or removed, 
the base unit and the cordless handset of the 
door phone report the abnormality.

The gas detector fault indicator will turn off 
after approximately 1 minute and the 
periphery of the MENU button will flash in red.

If the gas detector is connected again or the removed 
gas detector is reinstalled, the alarm message 
automatically stops and the periphery of the MENU 
button, gas indicator and the alarm indicator on the 
handset of the door phone will turn off.

The periphery of the MENU button and alarm 
indicator lamp will keep flashing until the gas 
detector or wiring is restored. 

● 

It is also possible to turn off the gas detector 
fault display within 1 minute. (     Page 75)

Press the Alarm Stop button. (It is also possible to 
stop the alarm sound from the manager room.)

If there is no abnormality on the gas detector 
(the device is not removed and the breaker has 
not tripped), contact the company that installed 
the system or the administrating company.

Touching on the Confirm button will take you 
back to the standby screen, and the periphery of 
the MENU button will light up in red. 
Pressing the MENU button will not take you back 
to the gas detector fault indication screen. If you 
want to keep displaying the gas detector fault 
indication, touch            on the top menu.
