Creating Escalation Profiles

1.

Login as

Tech Support.

2.

Click on

Tech Support

Tab.

3.

Click on

Escalation Profiles

Tab.

4.

Click on

New

Button.

5.

Rename

Profile name

to desired name.

6.

Select Level 1 of Escalation Levels and Choose where pages are to go.

7.

Adjust Notifications at this level or Repeat Notifications every X Minutes as needed.

8.

Click on

Add Level

to add another level.

9.

When all required levels are added, cap codes assigned, times, and repeat notifications
are setup click

Save

Button. This will save the escalation profile and reboot the server. A

server reboot is required to apply any changes that were made or have additional
escalation profiles that were added to be available.

Choosing Escalation Profiles

In order to change what paging devices are notified when an alert device is alarmed the location
needs to be set for the correct escalation profile. Each location in the system can be individually
set for an escalation profile. To choose the escalation profile for each location:

Login as

Administrator.

2.

Click on

Configuration

Tab.

3.

Click on

Locations

Tab.

4.

In the far right column under

Escalation Profile

select from a drop down menu which

escalation profile is to be used for that location.

Note:

Any location or resident device that is assigned to each location will strictly follow the

escalation profile assigned to the location. If the escalation profile is not setup to continually
send pages until alarm is reset the alert and notifications could be lost after the profiles runs out.

Advanced Location

Overview

Advanced locating is used to triangulate Resident Devices using repeater soft points to enable
the PalatiumCare System to give an accurate location of any Resident Device. By setting up
repeaters in a staggered fashion and creating soft points throughout a building, residents can
activate a pendant and give the staff a fairly specific location as to where the resident is. In order
to have this feature available an

Advanced Locating License

must be purchased from

PalatiumCare, a model EN6040 Network Coordinator and Repeaters must be in directed mode.
