Location Devices
Overview
Location devices are used to alert staff to resident needs at a certain location. Normal devices
include Pull Cords, Call Cords, Alert Buttons, and All-In-One devices.
Learning in Location Devices
1. Login as Administrator
2. Click on Wizard Tab.
3. Click on Update Location Devices Button.
4. Select Location that Device will be installed.
5. Click on Add New Device Button.
6. Click on Ready Button.
7. Activate Location Device for that location and Clear Device within 5 Seconds.
8. Click on OK, Assign the Device Button.
9. Click on Top Dropdown Menu.
10. Select Device Type from drop down menu.
11. Click on Bottom Drop Down Menu.
12. Select Specific Device Location from drop down menu.
13. Click on OK, Register Device Button.
14. If more than one device needs to be learned into PalatiumCare System Click on Select
Different Location Button.
15. If no more devices need to be learned in, then click Done Button.
16. When Done make sure to Rese t the assigned device
Deleting a Location Device
1. Login as Administrator
2. Click on Wizard Tab.
3. Click on Update Location Devices Button.
4. Click on Location where device that needs to be removed is assigned.
5. Select Device that is to be removed.
6. Click on Remove Device Button.
7. Click on OK Button.
