Escalation Profiles
Overview
Escalation Profiles are used to send pages to certain areas or care givers. This is utilized to
separate buildings, wings, or certain residents for specific care. For small facilities normally one
escalation profile is needed. The Default is set as standard for an all page to all pagers.
Adding Pager Cap Codes
1. Login as Tech Support .
2. Click on Configuration Tab.
3. Click on Contacts Tab.
4. Click Add Pager Contact button.
5. Type new Pager Cap Code into Pager Cap Code box.
6. Type new Pager area into Pager Area box.
7. Click on Save Changes button when finished.
Adding Cell Phone Contact
1. Login as Tech Support .
2. Click on Configuration Tab.
3. Site Contacts Tab comes up as default.
4. Click on Add Site Contact button.
5. Type in position of Cell Phone holder into Position box.
6. In Email box type in Cell Phone Number that is to receive text message alerts.
7. Following cell phone number add in corresponding email title depending on the carrier
to match cell phone carrier used.
Note: If Carrier is not listed, contact Cell Phone Provider for Phone Number Suffix.

EXAMPLE: Cell Phone Number = 123-456-7890
Cell Phone Carrier = Verizon
Email entered into Email box = 1234567890@vtext.com
NOTE: Text message alerts are not to be used as a Primary Alert Notification service
due to unreliability. Local Alert devices that do not require external services should
always be used as Primary Alert Notification service.
