6.4 Interpretation of the results
A patient screened by the AccuScreen PRO is either given a PASS or
a REFER .
If the result is a PASS , no further action is required.
If the result is a REFER , it is recommended that you retest the pa-
tient. If the patient is given yet another REFER , this patient should
be referred for further testing.
The results screen is explained in the following:
PS
= PASS Testing successful (OAE or ABR present)
RE
= REFER OAE or ABR criterion not reached
* Date/Time format depends on the setting in Section 11.2.3, ‘Date/
Time format” on page 75 . The year of the test is stored as well and
can be seen if the test is transferred to AccuLink.
6.4.1 TEOAE
Applies to AccuScreen PRO T, TA, TD, TDA
Test result PASS
A PASS is a PASS , regardless of the A and S levels (see ‘‘A and S val-
ues” on page 55 ).
