4.

If the micrometers are in contact
with the gantry (a), retract them by
turning anti-clockwise until they
are no longer in contact (b).

5.

Place the slot-die head flush
against both surfaces of the
mounting bracket. Using the two
longer bolt-on screws, attach the
slot-die head to the slot-die system
via the two gantry threaded holes.
The side of the head with the
socket for the Luer lock adapter
should face outwards.

6.

Place the Luer Lock adapter
through the washer at the end of
the safety clip. Attach the stainless-
steel Luer lock adapter to the slot-
die head. When not attached to
the tubing, the safety clip chain
should be kept off the stage to
prevent it dragging during levelling.
