The rotary union is attached to the bottom of the spindle shaft with a metal adapter. The
adapter has 22mm flats for rotating against to unscrew the rotary union. Unscrew the union
with the tube attached.

Figure 9-1: Rear of C-axis open with rotary union exposed



Replace the union at the end of the tube. Apply thread tape to the union and screw it back
into the bottom of the shaft.



Reattach the rear c-axis cover.
