Configure device
The configuration pane show a subset of available configuration parameters compared to the
advanced configuration described earlier. PTP version, PTP state, GPS and Per port settings
are available.

PTP Settings
PTP version
– Set the PTP version 1, 2 or per port. Enabling
per port will cause the disabled buttons for PTP to be
enabled.
PTP State –
The switch will always be a transparent clock,
but can also be SLAVE or MASTER in a system. Note that
even though you configure MASTER, it may go into
PASSIVE mode or SLAVE mode depending whether there is
a MASTER with better priority in the same network and the
GPS in connected.
GPS settings
Enable or disable the GPS. In enabled, you must connect a
GPS antenna to the antenna connector. Then the device will
synchronize to the GPS and use the GPS as a time
reference.
Port settings (J1 – J8 or 1-

PTPv1
– Select PTP version 1 (IEEE1588-2002 on this port)
PTPv2
– Select PTP version 2 (IEEE1588-2008 on this port)
No filter
– No UDP filter specified on this port. All packets
