If the GPS is disabled at the time of a “Set”, the device time
will be updated to reflect the values of the clock in the “Time”
section, and will store this time to flash for usage after next
boot of the device.
Set PTP Time
Device time will be set directly from the displayed time in the
time and date menu below.
Set Local Time
PTP time will be derived from local time. This means taking
into account the UTC offset parameter and time zone of your
computer. CM-1600 uses the TAI time standard, which is not
utilizing leap seconds or time zones. Whereas the computer
time normally uses a time zone and leap seconds.

Clock and Date

Select the time which shall be set manually to the device.
The format is: HH:MM:SS and the date is selectable by a
drop down menu. The fields are editable and the pressing
the up/down arrows of the spin button will alter the selected
field.

Computer time /
Stop timer button
Pressing “Computer time” will alter the time in the fields to
reflect computer time continuously, which makes the fields
non-editable. Pressing “Stop timer” will stop the counter and
the fields are editable for selecting any desired time.

UTC time offset
Default value for the UTC offset (leap seconds). This value
will be overridden if a GPS is connected and the UTC value
is different than the one derived from the GPS: If a GPS is
not connected the UTC offset shown here will be the default
selection.
