When the servomotor driver receives the origin adjustment signal (H.RET)
from the Position Control Unit, the deviation counter of the servomotor driver
is internally reset by the Z-phase signal (which is output by the encoder) and
the servomotor driver stops.

The point at which positioning stops is the same as in modes 1 and 2. There
are some differences in operation depending on the starting position for ORI-
GIN SEARCH. For details, refer to the examples under
Mode 1.
Refer also to the examples under
Mode 1 for certain precautions concerning
the length of the origin proximity signal. In mode 3, if deceleration has not
ended by the time the origin proximity signal has turned OFF, the origin ad-
justment signal is output when deceleration ends.
