Replace a spittoon case
Replace a spittoon case every two to six months depending on the spittoon surface’s smear condition. At its
replacement, also replace the spittoon absorber liquid.
Replace when...
Replace s spittoon case when:
- You fi nd the ink clot accumulated on the spittoon case surface; or
- The net is broken.
CAUTION
- Finish the operation above within fi ve minutes, and promptly cap the print head. Never leave the carriage away
from the capping unit for a long time. Otherwise the print head dries, which may cause a Printer malfunction.
