Fix the paper tube fl ange.
Evenly tighten the three screws on the paper tube
fl ange’s external side.

Sensor window

By rotating the take-up roll, confi rm that each
of the two paper tube fl anges does not swing
right and left.
To rotate the take-up roll
(1) Cover the sensor window by sliding your
hand downward as shown by the arrow of
the left fi gure. Note that the take-up roll is
rotated only with the sensor's downstroke
shielding.
(2) By keeping the sensor window covered,
the take-up roll rotates for 4 seconds and
stops.
(3) When the take-up roll needs to be rotated
more, repeat the steps (1) and (2).

Paper tube
Tape
Load media on the paper tube in outer take-up
mode.
With adhesive tape, hold the media straight at the
center, and then at the rest positions in the direction
from the media center to the media edge.
CAUTION
- Ensure that the media is attached with no slant nor
slack which will cause the slanting feed.

By pressing the key feed the media, and
wind one full turn of the media on the paper
tube.

Check the paper tube fl anges' position, and adjust it if necessary.
