If structural member has only one pair of test surface,
method combining with opposite test and oblique test may
be adopted. As shown in Figure F1.15, draw grids on two
parallel test surfaces at test position separately for cross
oblique test on the base of opposite test.

When test distance is large, drilling or embedded pipe test
method may be adopted.
As shown in Figure F1.16, embed
pipe at test point or drill vertical test hole, the inner
diameter of embedded pipe or diameter of drill hole is
larger than the diameter of transducer by 5-10mm, the
interval between embedded pipe or drill hole is 2-3m, and
the depth may be determined according to the need of the
test.
During the test, place two radial vibration transducers
in the two test holes separately for test, or place a radial
vibration transducer and a thickness vibration transducer in
the test hole and on the side paralleling to test hole
separately for test.
