6.3  Start Test 

6.3.1

Start sampling

Connecting two planar transducers with the transmitting channel 

and receiving channel of instrument respectively by signal wire, and 
couple transducers respectively on the first test point of the first test 
area on the two test surfaces of the object to be tested, and press the 
sampling button on the main interface, and then continuous sampling 
will start automatically, and dynamic waveform will collected will be 
displayed in the waveform area. At the moment the Sample button 
will be changed into Stop button, Exit button became Search button 
that will be used for searching head wave. 

If the data is to be saved, the new object name shall be entered 

prior to sampling; if no object name is entered, the Save button is 
invalid. 

1.  Save the First Test Point 

After the first test point having been adjusted, press the Save 

button, and the current test point data will be saved and the data list 
area will display one line of data saved a moment ago 

2.  Test of subsequent test points 

After the first test point having been saved, move the two 

transducers down to the next test point, press the Save button upon 
properly adjustment of waveform, repeat such process again and 
again until the completing of test on all test points.
