5.  Test Distance   

Test distance refers to the distance of dissemination of acoustic 

wave, i.e. the centre-to-centre spacing between transmitting and 
receiving transducers, in other words,    the distance between two test 
surfaces of the object which generally refers to the value of thickness, 
which range is 1

∼

6.2.2

Advanced parameter

Press Advanced button in parameter interface to switch to 

corresponding property page (as shown in Figure 6.3), Sampling 
interval, Transmit voltage, Zero acoustic time and other parameters 
may be set up at this page. 

After all parameters being set up, press OK button, then all 

setting ups are valid and those setting up values of every parameter 
will be written into initialization files and return to basic parameter 
setup interface; press Cancel button then all setting ups are invalid 
and return to basic parameter setup interface. 

Press Reset button in Advanced parameter setup interface to pop 

up dialogue box inquiring “Whether restore parameter to factory 
setting?”; press Yes button to restore all parameters to factory setting 
and No for not.

 

 

Other parameters need to be set for only once and it is not 

required to set every time.
