Lens cleaning paper

Procedure

1. Cover the place where the optics shall be temporarily placed on with lens

cleaning paper.

NOTICE

Contact with the optical surface of the protective window
could cause damage to the optical surface.

a.  Wear cotton gloves.
b.  Do not touch or scratch the optical surface.
c.  Carefully remove these 4 Torx screws:

The square plate comes off including the protective window. The protective
window is held in place by a retainer ring.

3.  Use the optics spanner wrench to remove the retainer ring.
4.  There is an O-ring between the square plate and the protective window.
5.  Replace or carefully clean the protective window; see section

8.6

on page

6. Proceed with assembling in the reverse order.

The protective window has the same coating on both sides, i.e. its mounting
direction is irrelevant.
