Procedure
1. If your scan head does not have a through-the-lens vision camera then proceed
with section 6.9 on page 62 .
2. In document [ Firmware ], look-up how the
Vcsel
device is configured and used.
3. View the image delivered by the through-the-lens vision camera with the
uEye
Cockpit
software [ uEye ].
4. In the InScript software in the
Navigator
view in the controller’s
Devices
subtree,
select the vcsel device.

CAUTION
Invisible laser radiation
could cause damage to eye or skin.
a. Avoid eye or skin exposure to direct or scattered radiation.
b. In the
Node Properties
view, set the following variables as needed.
i. Set
Channel 1
to Enable .
ii. Slowly turn up
Duty cycle
and watch the image delivered by the
camera. Turn Duty cycle up until the scan field is well lit and the
image is not saturated yet.
