Configuring Remote Office Access Connection Profile Multilink
Options

The use of multiple B channels for a single connection depends on the capabilities
of the remote user’s ISDN subscription. Using an additional B channel may mean
additional cost. If the same phone number is used for both channels, make sure
that the ISDN subscription specifies a hunt group for the two ISDN B channels.

Enable Encryption

Select whether to enable DES encryption. When you enable encryption the router
encrypts all data before it is sent out to the WAN, and decrypts data when it is
received from the WAN.
This field is displayed when the workstation is connected to the router over a local
LAN.

Encryption Key

Enter the DES encryption key to be used by other systems to establish a
connection with your system. You need to enter a must be a hexadecimal number
with either 56 bits (14 digits).
This field is displayed when you set Enable Encryption to DES.

Confirm Encryption
Key

Re-enter the DES encryption key to confirm that you entered it correctly.
This field is displayed when you set Enable Encryption to DES.
