Table 2-2 describes the possible status of each LED on the front panel of the
router.
Table 2-2. Front Panel LED Status
Label Appearance Description
Power/U or
Power S/T Solid Green and
Flashing Orange The router is synching.
Solid Green The router has synched and is working properly.
Orange The U interface or S/T interface has no line.
Off The router has no power.
Collision Solid Green There is a network collision.
Off There are no network collisions.
Solid Yellow A FIFO error occurred.
B1 Solid Green An ISDN call is active on the B1 channel.
Flashing Green Router is passing data on the B1 channel.
Off There is no call on the B1 channel.
B2 Solid Green An ISDN call is active on the B2 channel.
Flashing Green Router is passing data on the B2 channel.
Off There is no call on the B2 channel.
A Solid Green A POTS call is active on phone/fax line A.
Flashing Green A POTS call is ringing phone/fax line A.
Off There is no activity on phone/fax line A.
B Solid Green A POTS call is active on phone/fax line B.
Flashing Green A POTS call is ringing phone/fax line B.
Off There is no activity on phone/fax line B.

4/Uplink Solid Yellow A device (or hub) is attached to the Ethernet port and
the router is ready to service the client.
Flashing Yellow A packet is transmitting over the Ethernet connection.
Solid Green A polarity reverse error occurred.
Flashing Green A packet is being received over the Ethernet
connection.
Flashing Yellow
and Green A partition out error occurred.
