The following line appears, which is valid for data calls. If you select yes, the
configured sub-address is required for a data call to be accepted.

In some areas, it may be more economical to use a port configured for standard
voice to support a data call, called Data over Voice Bearer Service, or more
commonly, Data over Voice (DOV). For such a call to be distinguished from a
normal inbound voice call, you can use one of the Directory Numbers, a special
sub-address, or a combination of the two. When a voice call is received matching
this type of configuration, a DOV call is assumed. The prompts to configure this
are displayed in Advanced Mode at set port time.
In this example, any call received on Directory Number 1 (DN1) with a
sub-address of “00” is assumed to be a Data over Voice call. Outbound calls using
DOV are configured with the
+add profile <profile_name>
command
