Replacing basic chassis components

1002rp Server Maintenance and Diagnostics

137

Figure 26: Status display panel.

Label and remove the 40-pin flat cable from the back of the status
display panel.

Move the defective status display panel towards the back of the
chassis, and then lift it out of the chassis (see B and C in the
diagram).

Set the replacement status display panel into position, and secure it
to the chassis by replacing the Phillips-head screws.

Reconnect the cable.

Replace the top cover and front bezel.
