Moldboard Pitch Cylinder Installation

Step 1:

Position moldboard pitch cylinder, 1, with cylinder

clevis pin holes aligned with rear clevis, 2, on circle and
front clevis, 3, on moldboard support.

Step 2:

Install mounting pin, 4, through rear circle

clevis, 2, and cylinder clevis pin hole.

Step 3:

Install retainer bolt, 5, and washer through rear

circle clevis, 2, and rear mounting pin, 4. Install nut and
washer on retainer bolt and torque to 14.9 +/- 1.3 Nm
(11 +/- 1 Ib-ft).

Step 4:

Install mounting pin, 1, through front moldboard

support clevis, 2, and cylinder clevis pin hole.

Step 5:

Install retainer bolt, 3, and washer through front

moldboard support clevis, 2, and front mounting pin, 1.
Install nut and washer on retainer bolt and torque to
14.9 + 7 - 1.3 Mm (11 +/- 1 Ib-ft).

Step 6:

Reconnect two hydraulic lines, 4, to moldboard

pitch cylinder. Torque fittings to 25.8 +/- 1.3 Nm
(19 +/- 1 Ib-ft).

Articulation Cylinder Removal

Step 1:

Place articulation lock pin, 1, in hole through

support plates to prevent movement.
