ROUBLESHOOTING

Before starting the machine or its attachment for troubleshooting or testing, check, adjust and lock the oper-
ator's seat. Ensure that no one is within the operating range of the machine. Sound the horn. Lower the 
attachment slowly. DO NOT USE float position to lower hydraulic equipment.

Turn "OFF" Master Switch before working on electrical components.

Move with extreme care when working under the machine, its attachments, and even on or near them. 
Always wear protective safety equipment as required, such as hard hats, goggles, and safety shoes.

Disconnect battery negative cable before removing or attaching 
alternator "bat" terminal.

Observe safe electrical practices. remove rings, watches, and other 
jewelry before working with electrical systems.

Turn "off" master switch before working on electrical components.

Handle batteries with care. each battery weighs approximately 50 pounds 
and may cause personal injury if dropped. Battery is filled with acid and 
may cause chemical burns if the battery is cracked or spillage occurs. 
Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead 
compounds. wash hands after handling.

Explosive gas may be present.   Do not allow tools or metal objects to 
bridge terminal poles. sparking may result in personal injury or battery 
damage.

Never use gasoline, solvent or other flammable fluids to clean parts. Use 
authorized commercial, non-flammable, non-toxic solvents.

Battery gas is highly flammable. leave battery box open to improve 
ventilation when charging batteries. never check charge by placing metal 
objects across the posts.   Keep sparks or open flame away from 
batteries. Do not smoke near battery to guard against the possibility of an 
accidental explosion.

When using booster cables, be sure terminals are properly connected: 
(+ to +) and (- to -) at both ends. Avoid shorting clamps. Follow procedure 
in operator's manual.

Battery gas is highly flammable. Extinguish all smoking materials and 
open flames before checking and filling batteries.

Do not charge batteries in a closed area. Provide proper ventilation to 
guard against an accidental explosion from accumulation of explosive 
gases given off in the charging process.
