2-10 Command Line Interface Commands Reference
These commands allow you to enable, disable, or show the status of logging of system events for repor ting by
a Syslog client. By default, all events are logged in the event histor y. By using the syslog commands that follow
to set each event descriptor to either
yes
or
no
, you can determine which ones are logged and which are
ignored.
