6.3.2 Replacing the Monitor Speaker

To replace the monitor speaker:

Disconnect the lower docking connector ribbon from the UIF board by
depressing the bar at the top of the connector on the UIF board and
carefully pulling on the ribbon cable.

Disconnect the speaker connector from the UIF board.

Loosen the two screws securing the monitor speaker assembly to the
right side panel as illustrated in Figure 6-4.

Remove the speaker from the molded housing.

Install a new speaker.

Tighten the two screws.
