A command prompt ‘>’ displayed at the end of a menu line indicates that the menu can be selected by the Enter
button, or that the menu (command) can be executed.
If the command prompt ‘>’ is not displayed at the end of a menu line, it means that the function is only displayed.
When power to the PG-FP4 is turned on, the following message is displayed on the message display with the
status LED remaining dark.
‘Commands >’
The status LED indicates the status of communication with the device and the result of execution, as follows.

Orange
The selected command is under execution.
The details of the execution status will be displayed on the message display.
Green
The selected command has been executed correctly.
The command that has been correctly executed will be displayed on the message display.
Red
The selected command has been terminated by an error.
The details of the error will be displayed on the message display.

PG-FP4 Operation Menu
In the standalone mode, the writing environment of the target device can be checked and rewritten by using the
commands explained in this section.
6.1.1 [Commands]
menu
The [Commands] menu offers various commands necessary for rewriting the target device. Select a command
from this menu and press the Enter button. The PG-FP4 will then execute the command to the target device.
For the details of command execution, refer to
4.4.3 [Device] menu

Pressing the Next button displays the Type Setting menu.

Pressing the Enter button displays the next command of the [Commands] menu that can be executed.

The Cancel button is invalid.

When the Enter button is pressed next, the target device connected to the PG-FP4 is
erased, programmed, and verified

Download a user program in advance in the GUI software mode.
This is valid for the programming area (Chip, Block and Area) currently set for the PG-FP4.
