Mount the removed CPU/IO module after using the Recovery Console and normal OS 
startup. 

<When starting up Recovery Console installed on the system> 

(a)

 

Select Microsoft Windows Recovery Console in “Please select the operating system to 
start:”   

 

 

 

 

(b)

 

When the following message appears on the screen press 

F6

 quickly.   

 

<When starting Recovery Console from Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM> 

(a)

 

Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM into the optical disk drive. 

(b)

 

When the CD-ROM is set, reset the system (press 

Ctrl

 + 

Alt

 + 

Delete

) or press the 

power switch to power off and on to reboot the NEC Express5800/ft series. 

(c)

 

When the following message appears, press any key to start up from the CD-ROM. 

 

IMPORTANT:

 

Press any key while the message is displayed. Otherwise the system will be 
started up from a hard disk and Recovery Console will not be started.

When the following message appears on the screen, press
