Procedures after Completion of Installation    5-15 

 

CONFIRMING the ft Server Control Software version 

The following describes how to check the version of ft Server Control Software, which consists of 
various types of software for fault tolerance. Perform the procedure when you need to check the ft 
Server Control Software version of the current system before adding units or attachment to NEC 
Express5800/ft series. 

Confirm the version following the steps below:

For Windows 2008

> 

1.  Log on the system as an authorized Administrator. 
2.  Open Control Panel from the Start menu. 
3.  Open “Programs and Features.” 
4.  The version information appears on “ftServer Control Software” of the list of programs.   

If undisplayed, select [Details] under [View] in the menu, click [Choose Details…] and 
[Version] to display the version information.

On Windows 2003

> 

1.  Log on the system as an authorized Administrator. 
2.  Open Control Panel from the Start menu. 
3.  Open “Add or Remove Programs.” 
4.  Select [ft Server Control Software] and click [Click here for support information] to display 

version information on [Support Info].
