Disassembling the Hinge Arm Assembly

Bearing 

Orientation of the hinge arm assembly for this procedure is upside-down with the gear on
the left and the pressure roll assembly toward you.

1.

 

Remove the e-ring from the left side of the pressure roll assembly.

2.

 

Slide the pressure roll assembly out of the hinge assembly.

Be careful not to lose the pressure roll bearings in case they fall off of the shaft of the
pressure roll assembly. Keep the bearings on the shaft.

3.

 

Remove the screw connecting the hinge arm to the front cover.

4.

 

Remove the hinge arm from the front cover.
