Renaming a Net
Complete the following steps to rename a net:
1.
Select
Tools»Netlist Editor
and select the desired net from the
Net
drop-down list in the
Net edit
dialog box.
2.
Click
Rename
in the
Net edit
dialog box. You are prompted for the
new net name.
3.
Type a name for the net.
4.
Click
OK
to save the new name.
The new net name appears in the
Net
drop-down list in the
Net edit
dialog box, and in the
Nets
tab in the
Spreadsheet View
.
Deleting a Net
Complete the following steps to delete a net:
1.
Select
Tools»Netlist Editor
and click
Delete
in the
Net edit
dialog
box. The
Select the net to delete
dialog box appears.
2.
Select the net to be deleted.
3.
Click
Delete
to delete the net. The
Select the net to delete
dialog box
closes, and the net no longer appears in the
Net
drop-down list of the
Net edit
dialog box, or the
Nets
tab in the
Spreadsheet View
. The net
is also removed from the board, but while the net disappears, the traces
stay on the board.
Note
There is no deletion confirmation. To cancel the deletion before you click
Delete
,
click
Close
.
