To perform the side plates adjustment (see picture):

● Remove the four screws
(see fig. 16 A)

● Shift the mobile plate
(see fig. 16 B)
until the position required;
● Replace the fixing screws.
4.3.5- Friction Limiter Clutch Adjustment:
The PTO shaft that transfer the movement
from the tail spindle of the tractor
to the gearbox input shaft of the power harrow is
equipped with a
friction
limiter clutch
, the safety device protects the machine from overloads during
use through the slipping of the clutch discs, and limits the maximum torque
transmitted from the tractor to the machine at a predetermined value, thanks
to the springs height
(see fig. 17 A)
preset at the factory.

It is therefore recommended to leave the spring’s height value unchanged to
avoid damage to the machine or to the PTO shaft.
