Capping Station
The capping station consists of the ink caps, the wiper for cleaning the heads, etc.
Ink cap : Prevent the nozzles in the ink heads from drying up.
Wiper : Cleans the nozzles in the heads.
Head height adjustment rod and adjustment screw
After setting a fabric, adjust the head height according to the thickness of the fabric. (
P.2-32)
• Clean the capping station frequently to keep the capping station clean.
• Clean the ink cap periodically to remove the adhered ink. Leaving it with ink adhered may cause
discharging defect due to clotted ink.
• After setting a fabric, be sure to adjust the head height. If an operation such as printing etc. is
performed without adjusting the height, the head may hit the fabric and it may cause the damage of
the head.
• It is recommended to use the equipment keeping the head height 3mm or more. When using the
equipment with the head height of 3mm or less, the blurring of the printed images, changes in color
while printing or nozzle missing due to ink mist could be caused.
• Please be aware that we shall not be held ourselves responsible for the printing quality caused by the
use of this equipment with the head height of 3 mm or above.
