If the Positions of Dots Shift...
If the width of the media to be used, the head height or the ink type is changed, correct the ink landing position
during bidirectional printing (Bi) by the following operation to gain proper printing result.
Example of a Printed Pattern

Set a media on the machine. ( P.2-14)
• To print a pattern, the media of 600mm width or wider is required.

Make the media feeding system printable.
Switch each item below on the operation touch panel:
• Press [MANUAL] to change it to [AUTOMATIC].
• Press [BELT OFF] to change it to [BELT ON] [FEEDING
ON] and [TAKE-UP ON].
• Press PRESSURE ROLLER [UP] to change it to [DOWN].
• Refer to the assistant function (
P.2-9) to change the
required function to ON.

Select [Print Adjust] of the maintenance menu.
(1) Press the key.
(2) Press to select [MAINTENANCE] and press the key.
(3) Press to select [Print Adjust] and press the key

Press to select resolution to be corrected.
• Resolution : 300dpi, 450dpi, 450dpiH, 600dpi, 600dpiH, 900dpi,
900dpiH, 1200dpi, 1200dpiH

Press the key.

Press to set the origin position.

Press the key.
The fourth in the + direction from the 0 position is
indicated as a straight line.
In this case, the dot position correction value is 4.0.
