If an error occurs in 2L ink pack or ink IC
If an error occurs in the 2L ink pack or the ink IC, a warning message is displayed.
Printing, cleaning, and all the other operations that use ink become disabled if warning occurs.
In this case, replace the ink pack immediately.
Display details of 2L ink pack/ink IC error
You can check the details of the cartridge error with the following operations. ( P.5-5)

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press the key to display occurred errors in order.
• When you press the key, the screen returns to LOCAL.
Check method for ink leakage
If ink leakage occurs due to the connector defect of ink pack etc., ink will pool on the tray inside the ink supply
unit. (ERROR142 INK LEAK will be displayed on the screen.)
If “INK LEAK” is displayed on the screen, contact a distributor in your district or our office to call for service.
In addition, check ink leak as below:

Open the lid of the inspection window
located on the left side surface of the ink
supply unit.
(1) Loosen the finger screw.
(2) Rotate the lid of the inspection window.

Check if ink leak out.
• Check the tray inside the ink supply unit.
• If ink leak out, you can find ink pool on the tray.
• If you cannot check it because inside the ink
supply unit is dark, use a flashlight etc.

Remove all ink that you have set and
contact a distributor in your district or our
office to call for service.
• Do not leave as it is for a long time with the warning message displayed. The function for preventing
nozzle clogging does not operate.
If nozzles are clogged, the machine must be repaired by our service engineer.
• Do not leave the ink slot without the 2L ink pack inside it. The ink attached to the connector may clot
and not be able to be supplied.
