Anti-theft systems
The immobiliser prevents your vehicle
from being started by an unauthorised per-
son.
Activating the immobiliser
With the key: remove the key from the
ignition lock.
With KEYLESS GO*: press the
KEYLESS GO button.
The engine switches off.
Deactivating the immobiliser
With the key: switch on the ignition.
With KEYLESS GO*: press the
KEYLESS GO button twice without
depressing the brake.

The immobiliser is always deactivated when
you start the engine.
A visual and audible alarm is triggered if
the alarm system is primed and you open:
a door
the boot lid
the bonnet
The alarm is also triggered if a door is
opened using the emergency key element.

The alarm is not switched off even if you
close an open door again.
1 Indicator lamp
To prime: lock the vehicle using the
key.
The alarm system is primed. Indicator
lamp 1 flashes. It will be possible for
the alarm of the anti-theft alarm sys-
tem to be triggered after approximately
30 seconds.
To deactivate: unlock the vehicle us-
ing the key.

You can assign the following functions to
the programmable button in the centre console
( page 199):
Interior motion detection
Tow-away protection
Interior motion detection and tow-away pro-
tection
You can deactivate the functions by pressing the
programmable button.
Switching off the alarm
With the key: insert the key into the ig-
nition lock.
or
Press the Œ or ‹ button on the
key.
