COMAND
COMAND navigation system* (entering a destination)
To accept the first list entry: press
and hold n until the address input
menu appears.
COMAND has automatically accepted
the first list entry and entered it in the
address input menu.
To cancel an entry: select "Back" in
the bottom line and press n .
or
Press the L back button.
The input characters 6 disappear if
COMAND is able to uniquely assign the
characters entered to one centre. The list
of centres is shown without the input char-
acters. Here you can make another selec-
tion.
It is also possible to change to the centre
list without input characters manually at
any time during character input.
To change manually to the centre
list without input characters: slide
q m .
or
Select ? in the second to bottom line
and press n .

To select a centre: slide q m r or turn
y m z .
To cancel the selection: select "Back"
and press n .
or
Press the L back button.
To confirm the selection: press n .
After you have confirmed your selec-
tion, the address input menu appears
again. COMAND has accepted the
selected centre and automatically en-
tered it in the address input menu.
Entering the house number
i
It is not possible to enter a house number
until a street has been entered. You can only en-
ter house numbers that are stored on the digital
map. The digital map does not contain house
numbers for all streets.
Select "No." in the address input menu.
The display shows either the house
number list with input characters or
without input characters ( page 152).
Whether or not the input characters are
displayed depends on how many house
numbers are available in the street se-
lected.
