Solution

24.

The thermometer does not respond.

1. Check that the thermometer is turned
on.
2. Check that the thermometer is
connected to the correct COM (see setting
> software setting > calibration COM port).

Automatic calibration had failed, because
the program could not communicate with
the thermometer.

Follow the displayed instructions, and
retry.

25.

The measured temperature 51(˚C) is out

of permitted range [20…50].

During automatic calibration the
measured temperature exceeded the
allowed range.

1.

Reduce calibration range (increase
minimum and decrease maximum)
through Automatic calibration
properties.

2.

Retry calibrating.

If calibration is still out of range,
calibrate the Thermode manually to
bring it back into range.

Have not been able to read temperatures

from the Thermometer for 60 seconds.
1. Verify that the thermometer
communication cables are connected
properly.
2. Verify that the thermometer is turned
on.
3. Restart the automatic calibration
procedure.

The program was unable to communicate
with the thermometer.

Follow the displayed instructions, and
retry.

placed in the jig and connected to the Q-
Sense.
