NOTE
When incoming call is declined while the
Voice mail service and the Call forwarding
service is activated, the FOMA terminal
forwards the call to Voice mail service
center or the forwarding number.
Operations during a Call
During a call, you can adjust the volume, turn
the speaker ON/OFF, mute the microphone,
and put the call on hold, depending on the
usage conditions.
Adjusting the call volume
You can adjust the volume.

During a call, you can put the caller onto
speaker or temporarily mute the microphone.
● Turning the speaker ON/OFF

During a call, "Speaker".

You can hear the caller's voice through
the speaker.

With the speaker ON,
"Speaker".

You can no longer hear the caller's
voice through the speaker.
NOTE
Do not hold the FOMA terminal against your
ear with the speaker ON.
Speak into the FOMA terminal from a
distance within 50 cm. If you find it difficult
to hear what is being said, turn off the
speaker.
● Muting the microphone

During a call, "Mute".

The caller cannot hear what you are
saying.

With the microphone OFF,
"Mute".

The caller can hear what you are saying
again.
● Putting the call on hold

During a call, "Hold".
•
The call is put on hold.
•
To hold a call, subscription to call
waiting service is required.

In the hold state, "Unhold".
•
Hold is cancelled, and you can resume
the call.
● To use Bluetooth headset
You can turn on/off handsfree using
Bluetooth headset during a call by tapping
"Bluetooth".
