NOTE
Connect the USB plug of the microUSB
cable for PC connection directly to the USB
port of the PC. If the cable is connected via
a USB hub or USB extension cable, a
malfunction may occur.
Do not unplug the microUSB cable for PC
connection while data is being transferred.
The data may be destroyed.
When you unplug the microUSB cable for
PC connection from the PC, pull out the
USB plug horizontally.
USB Mass Storage setting
When you connect your FOMA terminal to a
PC by using a microUSB cable for PC
connection (sample), you can use the PC to
read data from and write data to the FOMA
terminal and microSD card.
● Turning on a USB storage

Connect the FOMA terminal
to the PC using the
accompanying microUSB
cable for PC connection.

Open the Notifications panel,
and tap "USB Connection" →
"USB Mass Storage" → "OK".

If a screen appears notifying you that a
running application is to be shut down,
tap "OK".

Operate the PC to transfer
data to the FOMA terminal.
NOTE
Do not turn off the power while the microSD
card is being accessed. The data may be
destroyed.
When the FOMA terminal is connected to a
PC via USB while the USB storage is
turned on, the FOMA terminal cannot
access the microSD card.
● Disconnecting a microSD card from
a PC

On the PC, stop the
removable disk safely and
remove it from the PC.

In the case of Windows
®
7, Windows
Vista
®
, and Windows
®
XP, for example,
perform the operation of "Safely
Remove Hardware".

On the FOMA terminal, open
the Notifications panel → tap
"Turn off USB storage".
