QWERTY keyboard
Tap the following icons to change character
modes and perform other input operations.
Shows the onscreen QWERTY
keyboard. (P.51)
Tap this icon to switch between
the onscreen 10-key keyboard
and the onscreen QWERTY
keyboard.
Touch and hold this icon to
display a panel you can choose
character codes, fixed phrases,
emoticons, and symbols on.

Tap this to convert the character
to the Kana/Katakana or 2-byte/
1-byte character.
Fixes the entered characters or
enters a line feed character.
Appears when the text box is
followed by another text box (e.g.
when editing contacts list). Tap
this icon to move the focus and
edit the next field.
Appears when the text box is
displayed on web pages and other
applications to input search term.
Tap this icon to execute the
search or other functions
depending on the applications.
Tap this once to type the character
you input next with the upper case.
Tap this twice to fix your inputs to
the upper case.
Tap this to delete the character to
the left of the cursor.
