Task Manager
The Task manager shows a list of the running
applications and allows you to switch to the
one you want to use. It also allows you to quit
applications you do not use.
※ Running more than one application may
consume more energy and make the
operation of the terminal unstable. Doing
so may cause applications to be
terminated forcibly or slow down.

Tap the application that you
want to switch to.
■ To close an application
→ Tap
of the application you want to
close.
■ To close all running applications
→ "Close all" → "Yes"
Text Entry
The FOMA terminal has an onscreen
keyboard that is displayed in the touch panel.
Text entry
If you tap a text box on the screen, the
onscreen keyboard appears in the touch
panel. The FOMA terminal provides 2 types of
ATOK onscreen keyboard for Japanese entry -
an onscreen 10-key keyboard and an
onscreen QWERTY keyboard.
● Onscreen 10-key keyboard
This is an ordinary keyboard of mobile phones.
You can choose one of the three types of
input method: Numeric keypad input, Gesture
input, and Flick input.
■Numeric keypad input
Tap the key with the desired character
assigned on repeatedly until you get to the
character.
■Gesture input
Keep touching on the key with the desired
character assigned on; the associated
characters are displayed around the key
(gesture guide). Slide the finger to the target
character without releasing it from the panel.
To input a voiced consonant, semivoiced
sound, small kana characters, slide the
finger downward once or twice without
releasing it from the panel. The gesture
