Adding a widget to the Home
screen

Touch and hold the Home
screen.

Tap the widget that you
want to add.
Deleting a Home screen icon

From the Home screen,
touch and hold a shortcut
icon, folder or widget.

Drag it to the trash at the
bottom of the screen and
release your finger when the
icon turns red.
Searching
You can search for Contacts or applications
in the FOMA terminal, or web pages. You can
also change the search target.
For details on the search settings, see
"Search" (P.81).
● Search by text entry

Tap the search box in the
Search widget in the Home
screen.

Enter the keywords.
•
A list of search candidates, search
results in the FOMA terminal, and
previously selected search results are
displayed in accordance with the
entered words.

Tap one of the items in the
list.
•
The selected item is displayed using
the appropriate application.
NOTE
If you cannot have any result you desired,
tap
or "実行" to search web pages.
● Voice-activated search

Tap
in the Search widget
in the Home screen.

When "Speak now" appears,
clearly speak the search
term into the microphone.

Search results are listed. When a list of
search candidates is displayed, select
the term you need.
NOTE
If your spoken words are not converted
correctly, search by tapping
again and
saying the words, or by entering the search
words.
● Tap search
Tap search allows you to make a search
without text entry when there are the words
you want to search by on the screen.
