9. Measurement in Main Set1
There are four measurement items displayed on the screen and each measurement item is
selectable to display respectively.
The following table shows settable measurement items.

The values are the square root taken from the squared
values of the instantaneous values of voltage or
current accumulated for a certain period of time.
It is used to measure AC outputs such as sine waves.
Vdc, Idc
Direct current (DC) of
voltage/current

The values are the average taken from the
instantaneous
values of voltage or current
accumulated for a certain period of time. It is used to
measure DC outputs.
Vac, Iac
Alternating current (AC)
of voltage/current

The values that can be determined by using the
equation

Vmax, Imax
Maximum value (MAX) of
voltage/current

The voltage or current that is the maximum among
measurements taken for a certain period of time.

measurements taken for a certain period of time.

A certain period of time is defined as a period time that varies depending on the
frequency of AC waveform, DC mode, and AC+DC mode.

Vdc and Idc are adjusted with DC voltage and current.

Although Vrms and Irms have been adjusted with 1kHz of a sine wave, measurement
errors may occur when DC voltage and current are measured with Vrms an Irms.

Use Vdc and Idc for DC voltage and current and Vrms and Irms for AC voltage and
current of sine waves.
