DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
Wiring Diagram
Refer to “DTC P0201 / P0202 / P0203”: Bi-Fuel LPG model.
DTC Confirmation Procedure
1) Turn ignition switch to ON position.
2) Operate fuel select switch and select “Forced LPG MODE”.
3) Keep it for 10 sec.
4) Select “Petrol MODE” for 10 sec.
DTC Troubleshooting
2 LPG level sensor signal circuit and ground circuit check
1) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then disconnect
connectors from LPG level sensor and LPG control
module.
2) Check for proper terminal connection to LPG level
sensor and LPG control module connectors.
3) If connections are OK, check that LPG level sensor
signal circuit (A1) and LPG level sensor ground circuit
(A2) are as follows.
• Wiring harness resistance of each LPG level sensor
signal circuit and ground circuit is less than 1 Ω .
• Insulation resistance of LPG level sensor signal circuit
is infinity between LPG level sensor connector and
vehicle body ground.
• Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity
between LPG level sensor signal circuit terminal and
ground circuit terminal at LPG level sensor connector.
Are they in good condition?
Go to Step 3. Repair or replace LPG
level sensor signal
circuit or LPG level
sensor ground circuit.
3 LPG level sensor check
1) Check LPG level sensor. “LPG Tank with Tank Valve On-
Vehicle Inspection”: LPG in Section 1G
Is it in good condition?
Substitute a known-
good LPG control
module and recheck. Replace LPG level
sensor. “LPG Tank with
Tank Valve Removal
and Installation”: LPG in
Section 1G

• The state of changing over “Petrol” to “LPG” is detected continuously
for 5 sec.
• The state of changing over “LPG” to “Petrol” is detected continuously
for 5 sec.

• CAN communication line
• LPG control module
• ECM
