If battery and wiring are satisfactory, inspect
starting motor
Insufficient contact of magnetic switch main contacts
Layer short-circuit of armature
Disconnected, burnt or worn commutator
Poor grounding of field coil
Worn brushes

Burnt or abnormally worn end bush
Replace magnetic switch.
