16 Disposal and recycling

Always dispose of/recycle the device in an environmentally friendly manner and follow the procedures
listed in this chapter.

►

Before disposing of the device, perform the following steps:

–

Drain the gear oil and store it in a suitable container.

–

Collect and eliminate any spilled gear oil by using a binder.

–

Dispose of gear oil according to its waste code.

►

Observe the following when disposing of the device:

Dispose of/recycle the device components, cables and packaging materials according to local
regulations.
